Being on the heavier side will have no effect on whether or not you can get the piercing. What does matter is the anatomy of your labia. If you are wanting inner labia piercings, you will need piercable inner labia, and if you are wanting outer labia piercings, you will need a piercable outter labia. But if that doesn't work your body might just be rejecting the piercing itself. 2. Also, the piercing should be done with a curved barbell to avoid rejection. Straight barbells are one of the main causes of rejection in eyebrow piercing. Titanium is widely considered the most reliable jewelry these days. Implant grade (not surgical grade) stainless steel is okay for some people but still causes irritation in some.For a glans piercing, I would strongly recommend against that.
